You know what ticker I'm talking about! - The Facebook kind
Facebook just loves its updates, and this time it's the worst timed and just worst overall.
I just want regular Facebook where I can view updates in a chronological order! I don't want to be told when my friend likes a status of someone I've never heard of! (bold expresses my frustration)
I sort of understand people's 'privacy issues' where every move is automatically added to the ticker, but these updates could be found elsewhere...and this is FACEBOOK. If you want it to be private, why exactly are you posting it? The ticker isn't the problem there.
After massive uproars on Facebook and Twitter and everywhere else on the internet; I think the ticker will be gone soon, or at least toned down.
Google+ opened today - the same day Facebook changes so much. Great timing, Facebook (!). I've seen a lot of Google+ praise after this 'ticker fiasco'. Everyone in college was checking it out so I decided to see what it's like. I got this:
I don't even want to use Google+, but I'd like to have the option! I think the Over 18 thing for Google+ is a good idea. It'll stop it from becoming what Facebook has become.
Also, I'm going to wait out the Facebook uproar.
